Description
The incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Reservations department
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring that all incoming enquiries are handled within a maximum of 24 hours
Working with the revenue director to update the PMS codes and setup when necessary
Assisting the sales and events managers in effectively dealing with all commission and accounts queries
Ensuring all necessary billing instructions are applied to reservations
Making sure that the team is fully informed of all rates,
including negotiated and promotional rates, and that any new promotions and packages are communicated effectively to all relevant departments
Ensuring that the team answers all incoming telephone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Identifying and assisting with the training needs of team members
Liaising with the Sales team to resolve any issues, and handle site inspections xysqume and office visits' information in the PMS
Ensuring that all VIP and special requests information is efficiently saved in the PMS
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
Deep knowledge of Opera PMS
At least 2 years of previous experience in the hospitality business (luxury field is preferred)
Excellent proficiency in Italian and English language, both written and spoken.
