About the Role The Vessel Design Engineer is responsible for the complete engineering design of industrial vessels, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, towers, reactors, and atmospheric storage tanks, based on project requirements, national standards, and international codes. This role ensures that all designs are safe, cost-effective, and manufacturable. The engineer provides full-cycle technical support to sales, procurement, manufacturing, and site installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in full compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

Carry out detailed design and confirmation according to the design plan,such as P&ID;, BOM.

Output 3D whole machine design, 2D drawing design and related design data.

Strictly adhere to national and industry design standards, such as ASME (Section VIII) and EN (European Standards). PED 2014/68/EU

Support the Sales Manager by preparing layout drawings and technical specifications.

Prepare and review essential technical documents, including Design Calculation Reports, Risk Assessment Reports, and Operation & Maintenance Manuals. Ensure all design packages successfully pass reviews by local Special Equipment Inspection Institutes or third-party inspection agencies.





Solve technical problems that arise during parts processing, production assembly, electrical commissioning and equipment acceptance;

Design and optimize existing products and structures to improve performance and reduce costs;

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

English language skills

Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in mechanical product development, analysis, design

Required Skills

Experience in mechanical design, with knowledge of vessels, other design capability. refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems would be

Good knowledge and skills in mechanical design, expertise in the design of mechanisms and components.

Ability to use design software such as CAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

Strong planning, organization and coordination skills, have independent design project experience, and have team awareness;

Be practical and conscientious, have good communication skills, be careful and responsible, be patient and meticulous, adhere to principles, and be fair and objective

Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica.

Almeno 8-10 anni di esperienza presso costruttori di pressure equipment, static equipment, skid package o società di ingegneria impiantistica.

Conoscenza dei codici ASME e della normativa PED.

Esperienza nel dimensionamento di pressure vessel e static equipment.

Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the pharmaceutical equipment industry

International manufacturing industry background
