pbOcean Export Operations Supervisor /b - bUS Relocation Opportunity /b /ppAn international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its team in the United States. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is interested and available to relocate to the United States. /ppThe ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands-on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliCoordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations. /liliEnsure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements. /liliOversee the preparation and management of export documentation. /liliIdentify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process. /liliMonitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service. /liliLead, support, and develop the operations team. /liliWork closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams. /liliProvide hands-on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed. /liliIdentify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality.
/liliThe responsibilities described above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be subject to change based on business needs. /li /ulpbRequirements /b /pulli5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations within the freight forwarding / international logistics industry. /liliExperience with a freight forwarding company or NVOCC. /liliStrong hands-on knowledge of ocean export processes and related documentation. /liliCareer progression from an operational role into a position with team leadership or supervisory responsibilities. /liliPrevious experience coordinating, leading, or supervising an operations team. /liliProven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make timely decisions. /liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. /liliCustomer- and service-oriented mindset. /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken. /liliWillingness and availability to relocate to the United States. /li /ulpbIdeal Candidate /b /ppWe are looking for a hands-on ocean export professional with strong operational expertise and experience developed directly in the freight forwarding industry. /ppThis is not an exclusively managerial position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working closely with the operations team, understanding the details of the export process, resolving issues, and providing hands-on support when needed, while taking responsibility for the efficient management of export activities. /p
