Senior Development Manager, Global RealtyAmazon operates a world‑class network of large, technologically advanced fulfillment centers across North America. The North American Operations (NA Ops) Real Estate Team is responsible for strategic development, acquisition, and disposition of all facilities in the Amazon Fulfillment Network.Key ResponsibilitiesLead proactive site sourcing and strategic development opportunities years ahead of capacity needs, creating competitive advantages in site selection, development timing, and cost across North America.Drive end‑to‑end project lifecycle ownership from site evaluation and acquisition through entitlements, design development, construction, and operational handover for complex industrial developments.Develop and execute financial stewardship strategies including feasibility analyses, investment evaluation, budget management, and risk mitigation to optimize economic returns while preserving operational readiness.Create and implement innovative processes, tools, and metric systems to ensure predictable delivery that balances speed, flexibility, cost‑effectiveness, and operational excellence.Build and maintain lasting partnerships with internal cross‑functional teams (Operations, Pre‑Construction, WHS, Construction Management, Finance, Legal, Asset Management, Economic Development, and more) including developers, municipalities, landowners, consultants, and community leaders.Navigate complex entitlements and permitting processes, working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies to secure approvals for development projects.Lead data‑informed decision making that considers portfolio‑wide impacts, network optimization,
