The Automotive division of CSI S.p.A., for its RDS (Road & Driving Safety) area, is seeking motivated candidates with a passion for Automotive technology to fill the role of Junior Test Engineer for the Active Safety operating sector.

The hired resources will have the following operational duties:

- Conducting the testing according to the specifications required by regulations and the client;
- Acquisition of data from internal and external equipment and processing of the test object, resulting in the preparation of the final report;
- Coordination and supervision of the Setup Team in the preparation of the test objects and/or their specific components;
- Preparation and setup of the test scenario/test equipment (e.g., test benches, vibration platforms, climatic chambers, etc.)
- Acquisition of checklists for the portion of the test scenario prepared by colleagues or external companies;

- Organization/planning of assigned short-term testing activities (days/weeks);
- Management of suppliers to ensure the supply of requested services and equipment;
- Driving the test vehicle on the track ( when it becomes necessary);
- Continuously staying up-to-date on regulations and technical developments related to vehicle active safety.

The candidate must also possess the following knowledge and skills:

- Knowledge of the concept of measurement chain and related elements for obtaining reliable data (repeatability, measurement uncertainty, calibration, etc.);
- Knowledge of vehicle design principles and its components;
- Knowledge of the MATLAB programming language;
- Knowledge of the Office Automation package;
- Fluent in Chinese and English (Knowledge of the Chinese language is mandatory);
- Possession of a class B driving license;
- Attendance at safe driving/track driving courses (plus);
- Ability to work outdoors

Educational and professional requirements:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace, or Automotive Engineering.
- We are seeking also recent graduates with a thesis or internship in Automotive field.

Work location: BOLLATE (MI)

CSI SPA offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with the prospect of continuity, with a gross annual salary range of €28,000-30,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

The job offer is intended for both genders in compliance with Legislative Decree 198/2006.
