The Network Engineer will be involved in service delivery activities related to the Italian site and will work closely with our global team to ensure the effective and continuous operation of the service, meeting agreed SLAs and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the local service from Monday to Friday and will be required to provide on-call support outside normal business hours to handle any incidents requiring immediate intervention at the customer site.As Networking Engineer involved in this managed service NTT team, your main responsibilities will be:Daily Onsite ServiceStandard Changes (AP, Switch, etc. add, move, uninstall) including configuration and handover to OperationsLocal troubleshooting including configurationBreak & Fix supportMajor Change supportLocal spare parts managementPerformance testing supportPerformance tuning and optimization supportEquipment Configuration Cleaning and Hardening supportBackup / DR testing supportReportingEscalating unresolved issues to Central NOCTo be successful in this role we require:Strong communication and customer service skillsTeam working and collaborative approachEager to learnGood understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.G., ServiceNow)Ability to follow scripts and documented proceduresConfidence in troubleshooting of hardware/softwareA minimum of experience in service delivery (6-12 months)Fluent in ItalianAble to work in international environment using English language (speaking and writing)Availability for on-call dutyLocation: Rome Workplace type: On-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
