The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a company committed to developing talent and rewarding performance. /p h3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Regional EHS Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of Environmental, Health Safety performance across multiple projects in Italy. The role is responsible for driving compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, supporting operational teams, and ensuring the effective implementation of Kirby's EHS Management System. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and support EHS teams across the region. /li liMonitor regional EHS performance, KPIs, audits, incidents, and compliance activities.
/li liEnsure consistent implementation of the EHS Management System across all projects. /li liLead serious incident investigations and oversee corrective and preventative actions. /li liConduct regional audits and inspections to drive continuous improvement. /li liProvide EHS advice and guidance to operational leadership, project teams, clients, and contractors. /li liMaintain compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation. /li liDevelop and deliver EHS initiatives, training, and safety improvement programmes. /li liSupport tender submissions, client engagements, and prequalification requirements. /li liLiaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and key stakeholders as required. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree or Diploma (Level 8 or equivalent) in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline. /li li10+ years' EHS experience within construction, engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related industries. /li liPrevious experience in a senior EHS leadership role managing multiple projects or locations. /li liStrong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Construction Regulations, and CDM requirements. /li liExperience leading audits, investigations, and EHS management systems. /li liExcellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills. /li liProfessional membership (IOSH or equivalent) desirable. /liliAble to influence, coach, and support teams at all levels of the organisation. /li liWillingness to travel across the region as required. /li /ul pKirby Group Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
