The Presales Electrical Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (mechanical, structural, architectural) to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities. Position includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design. Concept design of Data center electrical power systems and architecture, with traditional and AI design requirements, which includes: LV power distribution (low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, busbar systems) MV power distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear and transformers) Auxiliary systems (AC, DC), lightning protection systems, diesel gensets….
Electrical load calculations, arc flash, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools Understanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installations Coordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection) Problem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions Modular Data center technical solutions and quotations Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering ~5+ years experience ~ Proficient in Electrical power system design ~ Sizing and specification of electrical equipment and installations ~ Knowledge of electrical load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools ~ Solid communication skills, both written and oral,
to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment ~ PC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl.
