In 2020, Ambienta became IIGCC member and in 2023 committed to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). /ppbr/ppbr/ppbYour role and responsibilities /b /ppbr/ppAs an Associate, you will support the Private Equity investment team in Milan through the entire deal lifecycle, providing analytical and research support for potential transactions, active participation in the due diligence phase. The Associate will also be involved in the origination and portfolio management. /ppbr/ppbKey responsibilities will include: /b /ppbr/pullibConducting Market Research: /b analysing sectors and market segments, conducting market mapping and reviewing market trends /lilibFinancial Analysis: /b performing detailed financial analysis for potential investments, including building LBO models, conducting sensitivity analysis, and assessing data sets with accuracy /lilibDue Diligence: /b drafting IMs, financial statements,
and other relevant materials to identify potential risks and opportunities, collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors /lilibInvestment Committee memos support: /bpreparing internal investment committee memos and presentations, summarizing key findings and strategic recommendations /lilibOrigination: /b supporting in the evaluation and identification of new potential investments through market screening, secondaries profiling, and other sources /lilibExecution: /b assisting in deal structuring and transaction execution /lilibPortfolio monitoring: /b overseeing the portfolio companies’ performances and financial results, supporting value creation initiatives (add-on, refinancing, exit analyses) and is proactive in identifying Value Creation ideas and risks /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbYour Skills /b /ppbr/pulli2-4 years of experience in PE funds / investment banking / strategy consulting / MA or similar experience /liliStrong academic background from a top educational institution with degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering or related fields /liliA keen interest in pursuing a long-term career in private equity /liliStrong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and valuation methodologies /liliAdvanced financial modelling and analytical skills /liliProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint /liliExcellent interpersonal skills and a team player /liliCurious attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment /liliStrong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize /liliExcellent English both written and spoken; additional European language would be a plus /liliPrior experience in the mid-market would be a plus (but not essential) /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbLocation /b /ppMilan /p
