We are looking for a Mechanical System Engineer to join our Rail Engineering Unit and contribute to advanced railway projects, with a focus on the development and integration of gangway and railway coupling subsystems .

Main activities

Define, manage, and verify mechanical subsystem requirements in compliance with railway standards and project specifications.

Support the integration of mechanical subsystems into railway vehicles, managing mechanical, kinematic, structural, and functional interfaces.

Contribute to subsystem architecture, configuration, and operating modes .

Coordinate Verification & Validation activities , including functional, mechanical, and integration testing.

Act as the technical reference for assigned subsystems, interfacing with customers, suppliers, designers, and project teams .





Participate in Design Reviews and technical meetings.

Collaborate with Requirements Management, Mechanical Design, Structural Engineering, RAMS, Safety, Validation, and Manufacturing teams.

Prepare and review technical specifications, interface documentation, test procedures, and verification reports .

Technical skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering , or a related field.

Experience or knowledge of System Engineering applied to mechanical systems .

Experience in requirements management, interface definition, mechanical integration, and V&V; .

Knowledge of mechanical/kinematic interfaces, loads, movements, installation constraints, and operating conditions.

Good communication skills and proficiency in technical English .

Experience in the railway industry and knowledge of gangway, coupler, or inter-vehicle connection systems will be considered a plus.
