As a Quality Manageryou will lead your Quality Team in analyzing, evaluating, and presenting information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and cost associated with Quality Assurance for the manufacturing facility.
- Suggest and discuss alternative methods and procedures in solving problems both internal and external.
- Develops initial and subsequent modifications of product Quality Assurance Program to delineate areas of responsibility, staffing, and operational procedures within program,
according to and consistent with company goals and policies.
- Part of the Plant Management Team to establish and review program policies/procedures to attain company and customer goals.
- Review technical problems and procedures encountered and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
- Develop and analyzes statistical data to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Formulate and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Directs, through intermediate staff, engaging in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
- Serves as the Plant Quality Management Champion for IATF 16949.
- Appoint an EMR within the Quality Departme
