Farotti Srl – Società Agevolazioni is looking for a Junior Perfumer to join our creative team in Rimini, Italy.
With over 50 years of experience in fragrance creation, Farotti combines the heritage and know-how of an independent Italian fragrance house with a dynamic and highly diversified approach to perfumery.
Today, we create both fragrance compounds and finished perfumes, working with a wide variety of clients and projects: from niche perfume brands and emerging start-ups to cosmetic, personal care, home fragrance and other fragranced-product companies.
This variety gives a young perfumer the opportunity to work across different olfactory categories, applications and creative challenges, gaining a genuinely broad and hands-on understanding of the fragrance industry.
What you will doWorking closely with our Senior Perfumers and laboratory team, you will progressively take part in the different stages of fragrance development, including:
- supporting fragrance creation, formulation and modifications
- evaluating raw materials, fragrance trials and applications
- preparing and evaluating olfactory samples
- supporting customer briefs and ongoing fragrance development projects
- managing sample requests and supporting the daily workflow of the creative laboratory
- collaborating with our technical, regulatory and commercial teams throughout the development process
- contributing to the organization and smooth running of laboratory activities
At Farotti, the perfumer has a central and highly involved role. Rather than being limited to one specific stage of the process, you will have the opportunity to understand how a fragrance project develops from the initial brief and creative idea through formulation, evaluation,
application and final presentation to the customer.

Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- Formal education in Perfumery (perfume school or equivalent program)
- Previous experience in a fragrance laboratory is required, including internships or other short-term professional experience
- Genuine passion for fragrances and a solid olfactory culture
- Attention to detail, curiosity and a strong desire to grow professionally
- Team spirit, flexibility and a hands-on attitude
- Good command of English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools
