IT Manager The company operates in a technologically advanced manufacturing environment, where the reliability, security and efficiency of IT systems are key elements in ensuring business continuity and supporting organizational development.

The position is part of a path of consolidation, optimization and progressive evolution of the company's IT environment and represents a key role in ensuring the reliability of the infrastructure, improving process efficiency and maintaining appropriate levels of security and business continuity.

Position Purpose

Reporting directly to senior management, the IT Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the company's IT environment, ensuring the proper functioning, monitoring and evolution of systems and technological infrastructure.

The position will oversee infrastructure and systems, ensuring reliability, security, business continuity and appropriate service levels, while effectively managing relationships with suppliers, technology partners and software providers.

The role will also have a strong mandate for optimization, efficiency and development of the IT environment, with particular focus on investment planning, budget management, cybersecurity and the introduction of solutions and processes supporting the company's evolution.

Key Areas of Responsibility

· Oversee and coordinate the company's IT environment, ensuring the proper operation, monitoring and development of systems and infrastructure.

· Ensure reliability, security and business continuity of IT systems, promptly identifying critical issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

· Manage Microsoft environments and Windows operating systems, ensuring proper maintenance, configuration and upgrades.

· Oversee Active Directory, identity management and permission structures, ensuring appropriate access and user profile management.

· Manage the networking infrastructure, with particular focus on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and troubleshooting activities.

· Oversee virtualization environments, particularly VMware and/or Hyper-V, ensuring reliability, maintenance and appropriate management.

· Ensure appropriate IT security,



including patch management, access control, risk management and the application of cybersecurity best practices.

· Manage software licenses, system agreements, contracts and relationships with IT suppliers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.

· Plan and coordinate installations, upgrades, maintenance and support activities for local systems and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with company standards.

· Plan hardware and software requirements, taking into account organizational needs, technology lifecycle, priorities and available budgets.

· Prepare and monitor the IT budget, contributing to investment planning and medium- to long-term financial requirements.

· Identify opportunities for IT optimization and improvement, proposing technological and organizational solutions aimed at increasing reliability, security and efficiency.

· Collaborate with business functions, understanding their technological needs and translating them into practical, sustainable and business-oriented IT solutions.

· Coordinate and monitor technology suppliers and partners, assessing performance, service quality, response times and compliance with contractual terms.

· Ensure appropriate documentation of systems, configurations and IT processes, promoting standardization, traceability and operational continuity.

· Manage IT incidents and critical issues through structured root-cause analysis, problem resolution and implementation of preventive and corrective actions.

· Contribute to the technological evolution of the organization, evaluating new solutions and technologies aligned with operational requirements and business objectives.

Requirements

· Consolidated experience in IT roles, preferably gained within structured industrial and manufacturing companies.

· Proven experience in the autonomous management of IT systems, infrastructure and services,



with direct responsibility for their operation and development.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments and Windows operating systems.

· Good knowledge of Active Directory, identity management, access control and permission structures.

· Solid networking skills, particularly TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and troubleshooting.

· Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

· Practical knowledge of IT Security, patch management, risk management and access control.

· Experience managing IT suppliers, software licenses, contracts and budgets.

· Experience planning hardware, software, installations and upgrades, with attention to technology lifecycle management.

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent disciplines; different educational backgrounds will be considered where supported by significant relevant experience.

· Fluent English, required to operate effectively in an international environment.

· Willingness to undertake national and international business travel.

Compensation & Benefits

- CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria
- Gross annual base salary in the range of €65,000–€70,000, depending on the candidate's seniority, professional experience, technical skills and level of autonomy, together with a variable premio and additional benefits in line with company policies. For particularly strong profiles with highly relevant experience, greater flexibility on the overall compensation package may be considered.
- Location: Bari, on-site, with availability for national and international business travel.
