About the role

ENCO is a well-established consultancy and trusted partner in EU-funded research and innovation projects. The company is recognised for its expertise in the strategic design and implementation of communication, dissemination and exploitation activities aimed at maximising project impact and supporting the long-term sustainability and uptake of research results.

As part of its team expansion, ENCO is currently recruiting an intern to support the implementation of communication, dissemination and exploitation activities within Horizon Europe and PRIMA research and innovation projects.

The selected candidate will join a dynamic environment, working closely with project teams and senior experts. The internship will provide hands-on experience in communicating scientific and technological results, engaging relevant stakeholders, analysing markets and industry value chains, and contributing to strategies designed to increase the visibility, uptake and commercial potential of innovative solutions developed through EU-funded projects.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing CDE strategies, plans and project deliverables;
- Developing C&D; content for different audiences, including website articles, newsletters, press releases, social media posts and simple visual and promotional materials;
- Supporting the management and routine content update of project websites (e.g. WordPress) and social media channels;
- Contributing to the organisation and promotion of workshops, webinars, conferences, stakeholder meetings and other project events;
- Monitoring C&D; activities and collecting relevant performance indicators;
- Mapping key stakeholders, target audiences,



industry actors and potential end users;
- Carrying out market research and analysing market trends, competing solutions, industry value chains and relevant regulatory developments;
- Identifying potential exploitation opportunities arising from project results and supporting the definition of suitable exploitation pathways;
- Contributing to the development of go-to-market strategies, replication models, business models and business plans;
- Assisting with intellectual property rights management to help ensure compliance and maximise the scientific, societal and commercial potential of project results.

All activities will be carried out in coordination with the project team and under the guidance of the senior expert.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree, or degree nearing completion, in economics, communication, marketing, social sciences, international relations, innovation management, a scientific or technical discipline, or a related field;
- Candidates with a degree in communication, marketing or social sciences must also demonstrate a scientific or technical background, gained through secondary education, further study, a relevant specialisation or practical experience in areas such as IT or data analysis;




- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level) is essential; fluency in Italian is also required;
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt content to different audiences and communication channels;
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools;
- Basic working knowledge of Canva, WordPress or comparable tools, enabling the candidate to create simple visual materials and perform routine website content updates with a basic level of autonomy;
- Basic knowledge of the Horizon Europe programme and EU-funded research and innovation projects would be considered an asset;
