Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Technician to support the Company's Health, Safety and Environment activities, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and internal management systems. Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager (RSPP), laboratory managers, and operational teams, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace. The role combines occupational health and safety responsibilities with environmental management activities, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, environmental compliance, training coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support risk assessment activities and the maintenance of HSE documentation and records;
- Perform workplace inspections and audits, supporting compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations;
- Support the implementation of HSE procedures across laboratories, workshops, and operational areas;
- Coordinate environmental compliance activities, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and related documentation;
- Assist in the management of chemicals, hazardous substances, batteries, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS);
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives, PPE management, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
- Organize and monitor mandatory health and safety training activities and related records;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to promote a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment;
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and company procedures;
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences,
Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field;
- Qualification as ASPP (Modules A and B completed); Module C is considered a plus;
- Solid knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08 and applicable Health, Safety and Environmental regulations;
- Experience in workplace inspections, compliance monitoring, and HSE documentation management;
- Knowledge of waste management regulations and environmental compliance requirements;
- Familiarity with laboratories, industrial equipment, machinery, and related safety requirements;
- Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and workplace safety management practices;
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other management systems is considered an advantage;
- Professional proficiency in English;
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
Valued Extras
- Previous experience in robotics, automation, manufacturing, R&D; laboratories, or other high-tech environments;
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, environmental compliance processes, and hazardous waste management;
