Help translate customer needs into clear and actionable technical requirements, contribute to solution development and technical pre-sales activities, and support the successful evaluation and adoption of laser metal cutting and automation solutions. /ppThrough structured training, hands-on project exposure, and close collaboration with experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will gradually develop into an independent Solutions Engineer. /ppbr/ppbJob Duties Responsibilities /b /pulliCustomer requirement engineering: Gather customer needs and translate them into clear technical requirements and specifications covering mechanical systems, motion/control, sensors, automation interfaces, safety, and performance. Support the preparation of structured requirement documents for HQ RD and Product Line Management. /liliTechnical pre-sales sales support: Support opportunity qualification with Sales, prepare technical inputs for proposals and quotations, and explain system capabilities and limitations to customers in a clear and professional manner. /liliDemonstrations evaluations: Participate in technical demonstrations and trials in showrooms or at customer sites, including setup, parameter tuning, performance verification, and process optimization,
together with application and service teams. /liliSolution configuration feasibility: Support customer-specific solution configuration, feasibility and risk assessment, and technical clarification among customers, the European team, and HQ Engineering. /liliCompetitor market intelligence: Support technical competitor benchmarking covering machine architecture, automation concepts, performance, and integration options, and summarize insights for positioning and roadmap discussions with HQ. /liliProduct enablement: Create and maintain technical product documentation, application notes, and internal knowledge-base materials to support consistent communication and faster onboarding. /liliMarketing support: Contribute technically accurate product messages, use cases, and content for events, webinars, and customer workshops. Represent the company at relevant exhibitions and conferences as needed. /liliPerform other related duties as assigned. /li /ulpbr/ppbEducation Experience Requirements /b /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline, such as Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. /liliThis is an early-career opportunity suitable for recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant professional experience. /liliSolid understanding of complex technical systems and a strong willingness to learn industrial machinery,
laser cutting, and automation concepts quickly. /liliHands-on exposure through internships, university projects, thesis work, research, or early professional experience in one or more of the following areas: mechatronic system design, robotics and automation, controls and sensing, industrial software, or requirements engineering. /liliComfortable interacting with customers and internal stakeholders, with the ability to organize ambiguous needs into clear technical tasks and documentation. /li /ulpbr/ppbSkills Abilities /b /pulliTechnical communication: Clear writing and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to customers and support alignment across Sales, Service, and RD teams. /liliEngineering mindset: Structured problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to work hands-on during demonstrations, trials, and troubleshooting activities. /liliTools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams. Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, programming, or automation tools is a plus. /liliLanguages: Professional fluency in both Italian and Mandarin Chinese is required. The candidate must be able to communicate technical and business information effectively with Italian customers and China-based teams.
