• Beverage offering. This role is ideal for a wine professional with strong technical expertise, a guest-centric mindset, and the ability to inspire both guests and colleagues through knowledge, storytelling, and refined service. Reporting to the Head of Sommelier , you will support all Food &

• Beverage outlets with passion and creativity. You will work closely with the F&B; leadership team to manage wine lists, recommend food and wine pairings, assist waiters and the Sommelier team with service preparation, oversee glassware par stock. You will also manage inventory and remain highly visible in operations to ensure an attentive and distinctive Guest experience. Full knwoledge of the hotel’s wine list Assist the Manager with source, purchase, and manage wine inventory while maintaining optimal stock levels Ensure proper storage, cellaring, handling, and serving standards for all wines Collaborate on monitoring wine costs and pricing strategies to support profitability Provide expert wine recommendations and food pairings, enhancing the guest dining experience Engage with guests through knowledgeable and approachable conversation, creating memorable wine experiences Conduct wine tastings and special wine-pairing events Staff Training &

• Development Train the Staff on wine knowledge, serving techniques, and pairing recommendations Lead educational tastings and training sessions for the restaurant Team Develop wine service protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards Compliance &





• Quality Control Ensure compliance with all local and national alcohol laws and regulations Maintain high standards of wine presentation, service quality, and Guest experience Stay up to date with wine trends, emerging regions, and industry best practices Serve all beverage orders professionally, using correct equipment and procedures Take beverage orders and apply upselling techniques when appropriate Recommend wines based on guest preferences and menu selections Ensure wine lists are updated and sales records are accurately maintained Control stock levels of wines and beverages Support food service operations when required Certification from a recognized wine institution (WSET, AIS, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent) Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and food pairings Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills, also in a foreign language Native or Fluent Italian and English.
