The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial performance monitoring, business planning activities, reporting processes, and the continuous improvement of financial operations within an international and fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesReporting Line Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Role Purpose The Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the organization's financial management activities through accurate reporting, performance monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role requires a proactive and business-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information.Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key business drivers and performance trends.Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reviews.Provide management with insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Controlling & Business Performance Management Monitor operating expenses, investments,
and overall business performance to ensure alignment with financial targets.Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports for management and business stakeholders.Partner with department leaders to analyze costs, profitability, and operational efficiency.Support profitability analysis by business unit, project, customer, or geographical area. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management Assist in monitoring cash flow performance and working capital metrics.Analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable trends, supporting the optimization of collection and payment processes.Provide regular reporting on liquidity, cash generation, and working capital developments.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve cash conversion and financial efficiency. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.Coordinate financial data collection and assumptions from departments such as Sales, Operations, HR, and IT.Assist managers in evaluating business initiatives, investments, and strategic projects through financial modelling and business case analysis.Contribute to scenario planning and financial projections. Systems, Processes & Continuous Improvement Act as a key user of the company's ERP platform, supporting reporting activities and process optimization initiatives.Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes, controls,
and reporting tools.Support automation and digitalization projects aimed at improving efficiency and data quality.Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested by senior management.Your ProfileQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A;, Audit, Finance, or similar analytical finance roles.Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.Previous experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite will be considered a strong advantage.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively in an international and dynamic environment.Proactive mindset with a hands-on approach to challenges and continuous improvement.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Location: Settimo Milanese (MI)Smart-Working: 2 su 5GAS: 50.000 - 55.000MBO: 10%/15%#LI-UF1“Candidates, in compliance with Legislative Decree 198/2006, 215/2003 and 216/2003, are invited to read the privacy notice available below the data request form on the application page (EU Regulation No. 2016/679).
