Near-C
About the Company Di seguito troverà tutto ciò che deve sapere su questa occasione e sui requisiti richiesti ai candidati. Near‑C is a lean, fast‑moving engineering consulting company focused on high‑tech projects in the
Railway, Defense, Space and Automotive
sectors. We support industrial partners in the development and integration of
complex railway subsystems
: doors, braking, HVAC, toilets, PIS, lighting, diagnostics. If you’re looking for a place where engineering is concrete, technical, and product‑oriented, you’ll feel at home here.
As a
Railway System Engineer
, you’ll be at the center of the vehicle architecture: requirements, interfaces, integration, testing. It’s the ideal role for someone who wants to understand
how a train really works
, not just a single component.
What You’ll Do (and why it’s exciting) Analyze system and subsystem requirements (doors, braking, toilets, PIS, HVAC, etc.). Manage electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces across multiple subsystems. Prepare and review technical documentation (SRS, ICD, FMEA, V&V;). Coordinate suppliers and internal teams during integration phases. Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities on the vehicle. Contribute to configuration management and non‑conformity resolution.
This is a role where you
don’t work on one subsystem
— you work on the
train as a system
.
Who We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Transportation or similar). 2+ years of experience working with complex systems (railway, automotive, avionics welcome). Strong Italian and English communication skills. Analytical mindset, curiosity, and a desire to grow.
Core Skills System Engineering: requirements, V‑model, interface management. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications. Hardware/software integration. Solid technical problem‑solving. Clear communication across multidisciplinary teams. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with railway subsystems (doors, braking, HVAC, toilets, PIS). Knowledge of railway standards (EN 50126/8/9).
What We Offer Salary range: 35k€–45k€
, based on experience. Permanent contract. Growth paths toward System Lead or Technical Specialist. Real, long‑term, complex projects — not “intern‑level tasks”. A young, technical, collaborative environment. xrdbqlu
