Your responsibilities and tasks

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Operational Buyer to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in supply chain and procurement processes, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to contribute to operational excellence in a dynamic and structured industrial environment.

What You'll Do

- Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials and services required for production and business operations.

- Create, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders while maintaining accurate procurement records in the ERP system.

- Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.

- Support supplier negotiations regarding pricing, delivery terms, and service levels in alignment with company objectives.

- Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels, and procurement KPIs to ensure continuity of supply and operational efficiency.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement procedures.

Your profile and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily procurement activities for direct and/or indirect materials and services.

- Issue, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.





- Maintain accurate purchasing data and supplier information within ERP systems.

- Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams.

- Monitor inventory levels and take proactive actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.

- Resolve supplier delivery issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns.

- Support supplier negotiations related to pricing, lead times, payment terms, and service levels.

- Track and report supplier performance through relevant KPIs.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing procurement processes and supply chain performance.

Qualifications & Experience

- 2-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).

- Understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier management.

- Experience in an international and matrix organization is considered an advantage.

- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.





The position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.

The indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €28,000 and €31,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment. The overall compensation package may also include variable components and additional company benefits, which will be discussed during the selection process.
