In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget, in line with the Valmet Project Execution Model. /p pThe position requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding of industrial machinery, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders across engineering, production, customers, and international teams. /p h3Primary Location: Lucca, Italy /h3 pWe offer a salary ranging from €40,000 to €45,000 per year. /p pThe selected candidate will be hired under the National Collective Agreement (CCNL) applied by Valmet Italy for Employees of the Metalworking Industry and Plant Installation Sector (Addetti all'Industria Metalmeccanica e dell'Installazione di Impianti). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Project Execution Coordination /h3 ul liCoordinate project activities, resources, and tasks from Order Intake to End Commissioning /li liFollow the Valmet Project Execution Model /li liEnsure project targets in terms of scope, quality, safety, delivery time, and profitability /li liDrive and monitor project milestones and overall progress /li liManage project changes after kick-off /li liOrganize and lead project design reviews /li /ul h3Risk Issue Management /h3 ul liIdentify project risks and define mitigation strategies /li liManage issues and escale when necessary /li liCoordinate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of open points /li /ul h3Customer Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liAct as interface between customer, project team,
and internal stakeholders /li liMaintain strong relationships with Sales and project partners /li liOrganize and manage customer FAT at manufacturing plant /li liProvide regular updates to customers on project progress /li liManage customer punch list and ensure closure /li /ul h3Team Coordination Site Activities /h3 ul liCoordinate internal project team ensuring clear responsibilities and accountability /li liSupport collaboration across engineering, production, and other departments /li liAct as Project Site Coordinator, including safety and technicians coordination /li liEnsure alignment and effective communication across all project stakeholders /li /ul h3Tools, Processes Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liUse Valmet tools and follow internal procedures /li liSupport improvement of ways of working and project coordination processes /liliEnsure proper documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Business or equivalent /li li2-5 years of experience in project management /li liExperience in industrial environments (paper/tissue industry is a plus) /li liBusiness fluent English (minimum B2) /li liAvailability to travel (60-100 days per year) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPMP (Project Management Professional) certification /li liMS Project knowledge /li liAgile/Scrum certifications /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liProject coordination and execution ownership /li liLeadership, team collaboration and stakeholder management /li liStrong communication and negotiation skills /li liProblem-solving and decision-making capabilities /li liTime management and organizational skills /li liAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities /li /ul pValmet is where the best talent from a wide variety of backgrounds comes together.
