Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Senior Technician Test & Characterization Engineering . In this position, you will join the R&D; laboratory team to support power semiconductor characterization by maintaining and calibrating measurement equipment, troubleshooting test systems, and contributing to the development and refinement of laboratory instrumentation as needed.

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is a site focused on the design, development, and production of power diodes and power modules. Around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese, Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. Work location: Vishay Laboratory inside Politecnico di Torino.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage hardware and software of electronic measurement instruments, including drafting technical manuals, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures, as well as supporting adaptations and set-ups to meet lab needs.
- Diagnose anomalies and failures on testers and related electronic boards, performing advanced fault analysis and hardware repair, and implementing small improvements or adjustments where appropriate.
- Perform periodic calibrations and maintenance activities on measurement instruments, defining calibration methods and procedures
