key accountabilitiesconduct routine surveys and inspections of classed ships, platforms and marine structures to verify compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
prepare accurate and timely inspection and survey reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
maintain survey files and documentation in an orderly and up?to?date manner.
stay informed about new regulations, technical developments and industry practices.
identify technical issues during surveys and propose appropriate solutions, seeking guidance from senior surveyors when needed.
collaborate with surveyors, senior surveyors and principal surveyors and interact with clients as directed.
participate in training programmes and professional development activities.
education & requirementsmaster's degree in naval engineering or related field.
proficiency in italian and english.
basic knowledge of shipbuilding practices, engineering plans and marine systems.
ability to perform new?building and in?service surveys under supervision.
up to 2years of relevant experience or recent graduate.
