For our client, a shipping company, we are seeking an Assistant Technical Superintendent.
The successful candidate will join the Technical Department with the aim of developing professionally and progressively taking responsibility for the technical management of one or more vessels within the fleet.
brMonitoring the technical condition of the fleet; brSupporting the management of planned and corrective maintenance activities; brAnalyzing and handling technical issues reported by vessels; brLiaising with Masters and Chief Engineers; brParticipating in onboard visits, audits, and inspections; brAssisting in the planning and management of dry dock projects and shipyard repairs.
brSeagoing experience as a Second Engineer Officer or Third Engineer Officer, preferably on Oil Chemical Tankers.

provided they are aligned with the proposed career development path; brGood command of both English and Italian; brWillingness to relocate to Ravenna, Italy; brAvailability to travel frequently, mainly within the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Northern Europe, and Baltic regions, for technical visits, inspections, maintenance activities, and dry dock projects.
