Join our client’s international team in Rome (Anagnina Area), supporting IT security activities for major European space programmes. The company is a long-standing partner of space institutions, contributing to secure, compliant, and high-performance IT environments that support scientific, operational, and administrative systems.
We are looking for a motivated IT Security Specialist with 1-4+ years of experience in IT security operations, security governance, or infrastructure security, ready to work in a structured,
multicultural and mission-critical environment.
A B2 level of English is required due to regular interactions with European stakeholders and documentation in English. YOUR TASKS
In this role, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of security policies, procedures and controls across a wide range of IT systems used in European space programmes. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting security administration across Windows, Linux and network environments.
Performing security checks, reviews, and vulnerability follow-up, coordinating remediation with technical teams.
Maintaining and updating security documentation, including policies, procedures and technical guidelines.
Supporting access management and security control implementation across systems and applications.
Assisting in the preparation and improvement of IT security processes, standards and compliance requirements.
