WE ARE HIRING: IT Support Specialist (L2) – Desktop & Client Services (m/f/d)
Location: Via Togliatti 7/11, *****, Modena, Italy
Employment Type: Full-time, fixed-term (12 months) – with an option for extension
Working Hours: 40 hours/week, fixed office hours – no flexibility
Work Model: 100% on-site – no remote or hybrid work
Start Date: Immediately – onboarding in September

About the Role
On behalf of a large global automotive client, we are looking for motivated IT Support Specialists (L2) to join our team in Modena. This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile major project and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Provide second-level desktop support (remotely and on-site)
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, MS Office, printers, peripherals)
Handle service tickets in accordance with SLAs
Set up and configure workstations
Support upgrades, patches,
and infrastructure activities
Document solutions and troubleshooting steps
Escalate complex cases to third-level support
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in desktop support or an IT helpdesk (L1/L2)
Good knowledge of Windows and common business applications
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Strong problem-solving skills and customer orientation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Language Requirements
Italian: B2 or higher (certified)
English: B2 or higher (certified)
Work Authorization
Valid, unrestricted work authorization for Italy is required
No sponsorship or visa support available
Availability
Immediately – onboarding in September
Maximum 2 weeks' notice period
