We are seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) to join our clinical team at a Federal Facility in Florence, Colorado. This permanent position is ideal for a phlebotomist who works confidently and independently, values accuracy in specimen collection and documentation, and delivers compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and capillary collections for laboratory testing
- Ensure proper patient identification prior to specimen collection
- Label, handle, and transport specimens according to established protocols




- Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
- Conduct patient interviews to verify medical information before collection
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
- Perform quality control checks on specimens and equipment
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and healthcare team members
- Maintain patient comfort, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with EMR charting and electronic documentation
- Knowledge of specimen handling and packaging protocols
- Clinical or hospital-based experience
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
