The Finished Goods Planner manages production scheduling and capacity planning to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of cans and ends. Responsible for aligning demand requirements with production capabilities, the role optimizes resource utilization, inventory levels, and service performance. Collaborates closely with manufacturing, procurement, sales teams and the warehouse keepers, participating to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, flexibility,
and operational efficiency. Production Scheduling and Execution Develop and maintain detailed short-term production schedules to ensure optimal sequencing and efficient use of production resources. Monitor limited warehouse capacity and maximize rotation index of goods Manage work orders (raising, scheduling, closing). Align daily and weekly production plans with demand priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability. Monitor schedule adherence and proactively adjust plans in response to changes in demand, disruptions, or operational constraints. Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule. Identify bottlenecks and support actions to improve line efficiency, throughput, and overall responsiveness.
