This position can be performed in Milan or Rome. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliEducational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, or a related field. /liliExperience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in program management within space missions or aerospace projects, particularly with ESA/ASI or similar agencies. /liliGround Segment Expertise is a plus: Demonstrated experience in management of design, development, and validation of ground segment systems, including command and control, telemetry, and communication networks. /liliLeadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to build, manage,
and motivate cross‑disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts effectively. /liliIndustry Knowledge: Deep understanding of space mission standards, industry practices, and protocols. /liliFinancial Acumen: Strong knowledge of project economics, including cost estimation and budget management. /liliCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders. /liliNegotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve the best project outcomes. /liliProject Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, ECSS, PMP). /liliLanguages: Fluency in spoken and written English. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliCertifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus. /liliInternational Experience: Experience working in international teams is a plus. /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliProgram Management: Lead and manage complex space mission projects, ensuring they meet technical, schedule, and financial objectives from conception to completion. /liliCustomer Interface:
