Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to lead the design of critical infrastructure that powers the digital world?
At Black & White Engineering, you'll work on some of Europe's most exciting hyperscale and colocation data centre developments. Based in Milan, you'll join a team delivering industry-leading engineering solutions for global technology clients, helping create the resilient electrical infrastructure that supports cloud computing, AI and large-scale digital operations.
As a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of complex electrical design challenges, providing technical leadership across major projects while working closely with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems on mission-critical projects.
- Develop and review electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
- Design power distribution, UPS, standby generation and earthing systems.
- Support the development of resilient electrical infrastructure solutions for hyperscale data centres.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural and architectural teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide technical expertise and project leadership.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practice initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant experience delivering electrical building services design projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV distribution, standby power, UPS and critical electrical systems.
- Experience managing complex projects and leading technical teams.
- Data centre or mission-critical engineering experience is advantageous.
- Excellent communication,
commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
