ppWe’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to help build Akaion’s core intelligence layer from day one.You’ll design, ship, and scale production-grade AI systems that power our next-generation products. /p pJoin Akaion and shape the future of our AI-first platform.You’ll work at the intersection of product, research, and engineering to turn cutting-edge AI into real-world impact. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liDesign and build end-to-end AI systems (from data ingestion to production inference) /li liDevelop and deploy LLM-powered agents and multi-agent architectures /li liBuild scalable GenAI services and APIs for product integration /li liDesign prompt engineering, tool calling, function routing, and orchestration layers /li liOptimize model performance, latency, and cost /li liDeploy AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Run, GKE, Vertex AI, storage, networking) /li liBuild monitoring, logging, evaluation and feedback loops for AI systems /li liCollaborate directly with product and founding team on roadmap and architecture decisions /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liStrong experience with Python for AI/ML and backend systems /li liHands‑on experience with LLMs, GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDKs or similar) /li liExperience building RAG systems and vector search pipelines /li liKnowledge of agent-based architectures and AI orchestration patterns /li liExperience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) /li liFamiliarity with Docker, containerized AI workloads,
