About the role: As a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer you will perform supplier quality activities including audits/assessments, surveys, inspections, oversight, and verification at Westinghouse supplier facilities. You will be part of the APX Supplier Quality Team with a specific focus on suppliers providing ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (B&PV;) Code materials and components for the AP1000 Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS).
You will report to the Senior Manager, Supplier Quality NSSS . This is a hybrid position based in Monfalcone, Italy, requiring onsite presence three days per week. Relocation assistance is provided for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.
- Resolve supplier quality issues which adversely impact product quality.
- Perform independent assessments and oversight to confirm that suppliers have established and implemented an effective quality management system. This system must ensure that nuclear safety-related and/or ASME B&PV; Code Section III materials, and components meet all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements specified in purchasing documents.
- Monitor progress to achieve established quality goals within budgetary and schedule constraints.
