In Florence, our tours range from intimate food walks and private experiences to engaging group visits through the historic city center, including areas around the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and the Oltrarno. Behind every experience is a close-knit local team of guides, coordinators, and operators who work collaboratively on the ground—sharing stories, managing logistics, and creating moments our guests remember long after the tour ends.
About You:
We’re looking for freelance Ground Operations Coordinators to support our day‑to‑day tour operations in Florence city center primarily around San Marco square, Duomo, Piazza Signoria. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment. You’ll work closely with guides,
partners, and internal teams to ensure tours run smoothly each day.
The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude. This role requires flexibility, including weekend and evening availability, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
This is a freelance position. Candidates must already have a Partita IVA (VAT number) or be willing to register for one. Fluency in English and Italian is required.
About the Opportunity:
As a Freelance Ground Operations Coordinator, you’ll provide hands‑on operational and administrative support for our tours in Florence, Working closely with our Central Operations team and Ground Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly across our walking tours, food tours, group experiences, island tours, and private tours.
