Skillsearch is working with a United Nations body to find a Power Automate & Power Platform technical expert on a 4 month remote contract, English speaking
About the Role
The role will provide strategic and technical leadership across Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and connectors, ensuring that automations and solutions are secure, well-governed, scalable, compliant and aligned with organizational priorities.
You will be responsible for:
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise-level governance, controls and guardrails for the Power Platform, including environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connector governance.
- Establish and operate monitoring, alerting and reporting for Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions, including usage, capacity, licensing consumption, failures, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Define and maintain the target architecture, standards and technology roadmap for automation and low-code development across the organization.
- Lead the design, implementation,
modernization and lifecycle management of Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment and transition to operations.
- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including solution management, source control, and controlled deployment across development, test and production environments.
- Review, rationalize and remediate existing flows and apps, ensuring appropriate ownership, security, error handling, and adherence to governance policies.
- Provide technical oversight and design assurance for Power Platform projects, procurements, upgrades, migrations, and vendor-delivered solutions.
- Maintain architecture and governance documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer, operational readiness, vendor accountability, and continuous improvement of the platform.
