Job Description
La Scuola International School – Milano is seeking a creative,
skilled and passionate tempo parziale Music Teacher (8 to 10 hours per week) to develop engaging and meaningful musical experiences for children.
At La Scuola, we see music not simply as a specialist subject, but as one of the many languages through which children can explore, communicate, create, collaborate and express their thinking.
The Music Teacher will work closely with classroom teachers, atelierists and the pedagogical team, creating opportunities for children to explore sound, rhythm, voice, movement, instruments, improvisation, composition and performance, while building interdisciplinary connections with classroom inquiries and projects. Teacher will support a developmentally appropriate, child-centered curriculum grounded in methodologies such as Orff-Schulwerk and Kodály.
Schedule: The teacher is expected to be onsite for in-person instruction as agreed upon with Principal and Leadership Team.
