This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Maximo SME Technical Functional Application Developer based in Italy.
This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced IBM Maximo professional to support a major asset management transformation and upgrade initiative. You will serve as a technical-functional subject matter expert, helping configure, enhance, and optimize enterprise Maximo solutions. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and solution leadership. You will contribute to the transition toward Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8 while helping ensure system performance, accuracy, and alignment with operational objectives. Working with multiple stakeholders, you will translate business needs into practical and scalable Maximo solutions. The position is remote and offered on a 12–24 month contract, with flexibility for either full-time or tempo parziale engagement.

Accountabilities
Act as a senior technical-functional subject matter expert for IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management solutions.
Configure, customize, and enhance Maximo applications to align with business requirements and operational objectives.
Support the upgrade and transition toward Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8, helping ensure a smooth implementation and stable system performance.
Analyze technical and functional issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions throughout the upgrade and implementation process.
Provide expert technical-functional guidance and support across Maximo applications and related business processes.
Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and recommend best-practice approaches for Maximo Asset Management.
