Background/Scope of work:
The IRC undertook an initial scoping exercise for Spanish government donors in 2022/2023. It became evident that in order for us to receive funding directly from Spain, the IRC would need to register as a Spanish entity. However,



what form of registration and associated costs was not established and the potential return on investment (RoI) needs updating, including information in actual costs vs potential returns. We are therefore seeking someone who will be able to expand on IRC’s previous review by:
- Updating the analysis to the current context of Spanish Overseas Development Assistance (ODA)
- Making an assessment of potential realistic funding returns, applicable to IRC and update scenarios report
- Assessing the form of registration and identifying the types of investment required to secure future partnership funding and outlining the expected timelines to for generating returns
- Update AECID’s compliance assessment considering recent call for proposals.
