Job Description
We are currently seeking a EMEA Financial Controller who will be based in Milano and report to the European Financial Controlling Manager.
How you will contribute
Support the EMEA controlling and reporting activities, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial information across the region.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting and business performance reviews.
Collaborate with local finance teams, the Financial Shared Service Centre and Corporate Functions to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
Support the monthly closing process and preparation of management reporting packages.
Prepare monthly profit and loss analyses, highlighting variances versus budget, forecast and prior year.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-term planning exercises in line with Group guidelines.
Consolidate financial information received from countries and departments and ensure data consistency.
Monitor operating expenses and support budget owners in understanding performance and cost trends.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making.
Support internal and external audit requests and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation and standardization initiatives across the region.
Who you are
3/4 years of experience in controlling team or audit firm
Previous experience in retail controlling for fashion brands is highly appreciated
Graduated in Business Administration, Management or similar
Naturally accurate and deadline-oriented
