Wood is recruiting for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our Life Sciences division based in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.

The role.
The Automation Engineer will work on projects for international clients in a multinational and multicultural environment, learning the fundamentals of industrial Automation in Life Sciences and the working procedures of a large, international engineering company.

Responsibilities
Under the guidance of Senior Colleagues, the key objectives for this role are:
Design the Automation Systems for the production Process, the HVAC and the building infrastructure
Work with the Process and Engineering Team to ensure that the Automation design is compliant with the Project needs and Client’s expectations
Keep budget and schedule under control
Coordinate the 3rd parties involved in the Automation design
Carry out the technical evaluation of Automation Suppliers’ and Contractors’ bids
Monitor the progress of the Automation Supplie
