For IMA BFB, we are looking for a PLC Software Designer - On Field.
IMA BFB specializes in the design and manufacturing of end-of-line packaging machines.
The Role
Design, develop, and test software for the control of automatic machines using PLC systems;
Develop software for functions, modules, and machines based on assigned specifications;
Prepare project, functional,
and testing specifications in collaboration with the Hardware and Mechanical Engineering departments;
Support production during machine start-up and testing activities, and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers;
Diagnose and resolve post-installation issues and technical problems;
Activity breakdown: 20% software development, 40% workshop testing and commissioning, 40% on-site commissioning and testing at customer premises.
Experience & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualifications;
Good command of the English language;
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for approximately 100 days per year.
