AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team in Milan, Italy. The position is suited for engineers with around 5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical building services, with exposure to data centers or mission-critical facilities.
The role focuses on the design and coordination of HVAC and cooling systems, supporting data center and critical infrastructure projects within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design of HVAC and heat rejection systems for data centers and mission-critical environments, considering cooling loads, redundancy concepts, flexibility for phased expansion, airflow management, humidity control, and energy efficiency.
- Contribute to the selection and layout of cooling solutions such as CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water sys
