Reports to: Head of Finance (day-to-day collaboration with Finance team members depending on project/activity)
Type: Internship
We are looking for a Finance Intern to join our Finance team and support our Accounting & Treasury activities, gaining hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations, treasury processes and the full year-end closing cycle of a fast-moving proptech scale-up.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Supplier Ledger Support: Support day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processing and supplier ledger (partitario fornitori) maintenance, including invoice matching, invoice issuing, support in setting related automation improvements and month-end close activities. This may also include support in dedicated reconciliation and cleanup projects to be run together with external advisors.
Treasury & Payments Support:
Supporting the preparation and control of payment batches and related processing. Support recurring cash and bank reconciliations against the ERP and related analyses.
Financial Statements Support: Support the preparation of the full year 2026 financial statements including the year end closing activities and the support in the auditing process for the final approval.
Background & Functional Experience
BSc/MSc in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or similar background.
Previous internship or coursework in accounting, audit, treasury or corporate finance is a plus; experience with structured ERP systems is a plus.
Italian proficiency (fluent/native speaker);
English proficiency (fluent);
French knowledge is a plus.
Personal Attributes & Soft Skills
Solid grounding in accounting fundamentals
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL knowledge is a plus
Structured yet critical approach to using AI tools
