Senior Car Trader

We are looking for an experienced Car Buyer / Trader to join our team and take responsibility for sourcing and purchasing vehicles through international auctions, while also building and developing long-term partnerships with dealers, leasing companies and other professional vehicle suppliers.
As a Car Buyer / Trader, you will:
- Actively participate in online car auctions on a daily basis
- Identify and purchase high-quality vehicles at competitive and profitable prices
- Build and develop long-term relationships with dealers, leasing companies and other professional vehicle suppliers
- Identify new sourcing opportunities and establish new purchasing channels
- Optimise our purchasing portfolio with a strong focus on turnover, margins and market demand
- Contribute to ongoing market analysis and improve our purchasing and valuation strategies
- Make fast, data-driven decisions in a high-volume trading environment
Following an onboarding and training period, typically 2–3 months, the goal is for you to independently purchase approximately 100 vehicles per month.
The position is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from wherever you are most productive.
We provide all necessary IT equipment and access to the relevant auction platforms and tools.
About you
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Proven experience from a similar position – mandatory
- Hands-on experience with car auctions and decision-making during live purchases
- Experience in building and maintaining commercial relationships is a strong advantage
- A realistic and profit-focused approach to vehicle purchasing
- Strong commercial judgement and an eye for numbers, vehicle quality and market value
- The ability to work at a high pace and make quick decisions
- A high level of independence, reliability and integrity
- A strong interest in the automotive market
Experience with high-volume vehicle purchasing (approximately 100+ vehicles per month) is a significant advantage.
