Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Key Account Manager role based in Milan. The Key Account Manager will manage and grow strategic customer relationships, focusing on key retail and channel partners in the consumer electronics and mobile device market. Day-to-day tasks include developing joint business plans, monitoring sales performance, coordinating promotions, and ensuring product visibility and availability. The role involves regular communication with key accounts, resolving operational and service issues, analyzing sales data,
and identifying opportunities to increase market share and profitability. The Key Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, finance, supply chain, and product to execute account strategies and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to partners.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management and Key Accounts skills, with experience managing strategic partners or major retail/channel customers.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights, and to translate them into actionable plans.
- Business Planning capabilities, including forecasting, budgeting, and developing joint business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle escalations, and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Professional experience in consumer electronics, telecom, or FMCG sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Milan, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
