About the role
We're looking for a Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer who can bridge deep technical expertise with strong customer engagement.
In this role, you'll work closely with prospects and our Sales team to understand complex technical challenges, demonstrate how Akamas can address them, design tailored solutions, and lead hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in real customer environments.
If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, explaining technology clearly, working directly with customers, and proving the value of a solution hands-on, this could be a great fit.
What you will do
Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their architecture, challenges, requirements, and business goals.
Deliver technical product demos tailored to different audiences, from engineers and architects to technical and executive stakeholders.
Manage and resolve technical inquiries during the sales process.
Lead and execute Proof of Concepts that prove how Akamas works in real environments
Shape tailored solutions to match customers' needs.
Respond to RFI/RFP requests with clear and detailed technical information.
Partner with Product & Engineering to make sure what we promise is real and scalable
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (Solution Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar).
Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures based on Kubernetes .
Familiarity with observability solutions (such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, ...)
Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging with technical and executive stakeholders.
