ppAre you ready to manage projects end-to-end in a global industrial environment, from order intake to final commissioning at customer site?
We are seeking a Project Manager - Tissue Converting to join our CAP TC team in Lucca.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget, in line with the Valmet Project Execution Model.
The position requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding of industrial machinery, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders across engineering, production, customers, and international teams.
/ppPrimary Location: Lucca, Italy /ppWe offer a salary ranging from €40,000 to €45,000 per year.
The selected candidate will be hired under the National Collective Agreement (CCNL) applied by Valmet Italy for Employees of the Metalworking Industry and Plant Installation Sector (Addetti all'Industria Metalmeccanica e dell'Installazione di Impianti).
/ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliProject Execution Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, and tasks from Order Intake to End Commissioning /liliFollow the Valmet Project Execution Model /liliEnsure project targets in terms of scope, quality, safety, delivery time, and profitability /liliDrive and monitor project milestones and overall progress /liliManage project changes after kick-off /liliOrganize and lead project design reviews /liliRisk Issue Management: Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies /liliManage issues and escape when necessary /liliCoordinate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of open points /liliCustomer Stakeholder Management: Act as interface between customer, project team,
and internal stakeholders /liliMaintain strong relationships with Sales and project partners /liliOrganize and manage customer FAT at manufacturing plant /liliProvide regular updates to customers on project progress /liliManage customer punch list and ensure closure /liliTeam Coordination Site Activities: Coordinate internal project team ensuring clear responsibilities and accountability /liliSupport collaboration across engineering, production, and other departments /liliAct as Project Site Coordinator, including safety and technicians coordination /liliEnsure alignment and effective communication across all project stakeholders /li /ulh3Tools, Processes Continuous Improvement /h3ulliUse Valmet tools and follow internal procedures /liliSupport improvement of ways of working and project coordination processes /liliEnsure proper documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliDegree in Business or equivalent /lili2–5 years of experience in project management /liliExperience in industrial environments (paper/tissue industry is a plus) /liliBusiness fluent English (minimum B2) /liliAvailability to travel ******* days per year) /li /ulh3Preferred qualifications /h3ulliPMP (Project Management Professional)
