About the roleAs a Legal Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of law, technology, and product innovation. Your mission is to translate complex legal knowledge into AI‑powered workflows that deliver measurable impact for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to build, test, and optimize Libra Assistants and automations that reflect real‑world legal reasoning.
This person will work closely with legal and tax professionals, product managers and technical teams, contributing to the ongoing development of the Libra AI platform and related services across two distinct client segments: law firms with a tax practice and the tax departments of corporates, as well as the services requested by chartered accountants (commercialisti). The ability to adapt quickly and find concrete answers even in ambiguous situations is the most valued skill for this role. Unlike traditional legal roles, Legal Engineers at Libra are forward‑deployed: you’ll work directly with clients—law firms and corporate legal departments—to design solutions that transform how legal teams operate. This role is ideal for tax lawyers who are passionate about technology, problem‑solving, and building scalable, impactful solutions.
