Business Development Manager - Italy - EV Charging
Location: Milan, Lombardy, Italy (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to €50K + uncapped commission (up to 50%)
The Opportunity
A fast-growing international business in the EV charging and energy space is looking for an energetic, ambitious Business Development Manager to help grow its presence in Italy.
This is a true hunter sales role focused on generating new business, building pipeline and winning new customers. You'll be responsible for outbound prospecting, cold calling, opening new accounts and developing relationships across the Italian market.
We're looking for someone early in their sales career who is driven, commercially minded and enjoys the thrill of winning new business.
The Role
- Generate new business through proactive outbound sales, cold calling and prospecting.
- Identify and engage new customers and commercial partners across Italy.
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline from scratch.
- Run discovery calls, meetings and product presentations.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Own opportunities through the sales process and close new business.
- Work closely with the wider commercial team to support market growth.
- Travel to customers and industry events when required.
About You
We're looking for an energetic and ambitious salesperson who enjoys hunting for new business and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.
You don't need to come from EV charging or energy, we're open to strong B2B salespeople from other industries who can demonstrate a genuine hunter mentality and strong outbound sales experience.
Experience
- 2–5 years' experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling and prospecting.
- A genuine hunter mentality and drive to win new business.
- Comfortable building a pipeline from scratch.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Target-driven, resilient and motivated by achieving results.
