This role would suit a senior engineer or principal engineer with a solid background in developing hydraulic systems for construction machines (specifically including excavator and wheeled loader platforms).
Your Role
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in the development, optimisation and performance of hydraulic systems and electro-hydraulic controls for excavator and wheeled loader platforms
- Work closely with engineering teams in Europe and China to define, develop and optimise hydraulic system architecture, control strategies and machine behaviour
- Act as a technical authority on hydraulic system performance, helping engineering teams resolve complex technical issues and make informed design decisions
- Work with engineering teams to develop and evaluate hydraulic system concepts,
architecture and control strategies for current and future machine platforms
- Support the integration of hydraulic and control systems into machines, including system commissioning, testing and problem resolution
Your Background
- Degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical, mechatronics, hydraulic engineering or a related discipline. Also, excellent English communication skills.
- Your background may include systems design, integration, test or validation leading up to becoming a hydraulics systems expert
- You will need significant engineering experience within the construction machinery sector working specifically on the hydraulic systems for entire machines (excavator and wheeled loader machines) for construction applications - this is essential and non-negotiable
