PURPOSE:
The RSPP is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the site's Health & Safety management system, ensuring compliance with Italian legislation, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements. The role provides technical guidance to management and employees on occupational health and safety matters, identifies and assesses workplace risks, and promotes a proactive safety culture across the organization. Working closely with Operations, Human Resources,
Maintenance, external contractors, occupational health providers, and local authorities, the RSPP drives initiatives aimed at preventing accidents and occupational illnesses while supporting business performance through effective risk management and continuous improvement.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with local Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments, ensuring that preventive and protective measures are implemented and maintained.
- Develop, update, and communicate safety procedures, work instructions, and emergency plans.
- Surveillance on the right application of internal Health & Safety procedures by employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable regulations.
